MDC 12/24 hour military wrist watch with date and day, obviously a homage to the old WW2 military watches. At this price point, my expectations for looks, style, performance and durability weren't very high. I was positively surprised! The watch comes in a small thin black box in the sleeve protected by a felt pad cut to the shape of the watch. What immediately caught my eye was what I call "utilitarian elegance." A very beautiful and durable look, indicating delicate handling, yet strong and durable. This is a minimalist watch with a simple yet reliable and accurate clock. I've had the watch for over a week and while it's not a long time and this isn't an exhaustive review, so far my impression is that you get more than you pay for with MDC. . Keeps time great and if you scratch or scrape it you won't feel guilty given the price. In fact, I'm so impressed with this watch that I bought three in total (one in each color offered).
