This belt sucks. My waist is 36 inches, I have an XL belt. I have 1 hole left for a belt so it can be worn. If I was going to get a big one as I am I just wanted a little more room to adjust, it wouldn't fit. The material is similar to a seat belt. The nubs that hold the strap at the waist are tight. You don't move. Overall very cheaply made. I do not recommend it.
