I looked around and finally came across this console that perfectly fits the floor "hump" between the front seat and the dashboard of my 2008 F150 Crew Cab (4-door) pickup TRUCK. This console will work for you if you have a 2004-2008 model as they have the same interior design prior to the 2009 model (new model changes). I don't know what the bottom of the new model looks like, but I'm sure there will be. However, it does not stick immediately. You will need to cut about an inch from the bottom front (dash side) of this Hopkins console so it lays flat since the truck's "hump" bottom is angled. It's tight fitting, but it will work and look good. Console (pictured with large hinged cover) The plastic sides can be trimmed with heavy duty scissors or shorns. Be careful not to cut too much or the storage cave will not sit flush with the floor. When you're ready to take on this: Take 2 pieces of cardboard (or a cereal box) 6 inches long and 3 inches high and lay them along the sides of the Hopkins console. Start about 1" from the front corners (which are highest on the floor - toward the dashboard) and draw a 5" straight line backwards (towards the seats) and then down to the floor/ Carpet (should be about 1 inch high). material you cut at the highest point). To smooth a 90 degree corner, just take a nickel or quarter and draw that radius for a smoother corner transition. Now cut out this area on the cardboard and match it to the outline of the floor. Cut the cardboard to fit the floor snugly. If it looks correct, you can transfer this template to the bottom front of the Hopkins console. Check your marks on the bottom of the Hopkins console to make sure you aren't cutting so much material that the storage cavities/pockets are underneath what you intend to cut. Remember that the edges of the console should be level with the floor and the cavities/pockets should not be on the carpet. It will look crappy if you cut too much material and end up with gaps at the bottom edges, so make small cuts in stages and check the fit before removing too much material. You now have a bespoke console that will give you many years of enjoyment. It works fine for me. I used 2 x 1" screws with a big fat head to attach it to the bottom of the hump truck. Hope this helps. Just a little cutting off the bottom of this console is all I need to get it to lay flat to leave. Carpet hump. I also like the little trash can that comes with this one. I put my notepads, gum, pens etc in it. Looks great and works great!
