Review on ๐Ÿงฝ ESUN CLEANING Filament: Optimal Solution for Printer Cleaning by Paul Wilson

Ideal for changing nozzle and filament types

I designed my printer to work with as many types of media as possible, so I print with a wide variety of filaments at various temperatures, including abrasives. When designing and printing with different materials, it is often advantageous to change the nozzle size as well. All of this combined can clog the extruder with poor maintenance, which is why I bought this special cleaning filament from eSUN to ensure smooth extrusion. It was packaged in a vacuum bag with desiccant, product manual and easy-to-follow instructions. When I first used this I wanted to go from a 0.6mm nozzle and PETG to a 0.4mm nozzle and wood PLA. A few cold hits allowed me to keep the 0.6mm nozzle clean and create a smooth transition. Shortly after I printed what I needed in wood I switched to gray PLA with no cleaning which gave me a wavy extrusion pattern even when I checked the extruder gap for mm. A few cold puffs of cleaning floss brought me back to a smooth and clean gray PLA extrusion, and I pulled quite a bit of abrasive wood floss from my extruder. This stuff is great for what I do, it's cheap enough and has found its place in my suitcase right next to my printer. This allowed me to maintain my block not only when changing nozzles, but also when changing filaments. My printer easily reverted to silky smooth first layers.
