I have a garage/store so I need lots of light. The only problem is that there are only 2 sockets for ceiling lights in the back half of the garage. The 7-in-1 outlet boxes allowed me to light my entire garage without having to run new boxes in the finished ceiling for the store fixtures. A 4000 lumen LED bulb costs about $40, but since there are 7 outlets per splitter, I could buy 12 inexpensive standard 800 lumen LED bulbs for about $20. In each splitter I placed 3 standard 800lm bulbs backside down and 3 800lm spotlights angled forward and down to reach the front of the garage. Between the two splitters I have 9600 lumens LED bulbs drawing power from two 60w incandescent bulbs (and I don't even use the 7th outlet). Being able to tilt the headlights in the 2 splitters and the cross light allowed me to illuminate every inch of the garage and really reduce harsh shading.
