Quality and ease of use justify the price
I replaced the $40 bracket with this when I got my PT-AE8000U. I was able to set up the projector myself, although I couldn't lift heavy things over my head due to a disability. Independent 3-axis fine-tuning was a breeze, and if I need to change the lamp, that's not a big deal thanks to the quick-release mechanism. It was worth every penny!
