I bought this product for a theater room I am building. During the installation, I had two problems: 1) The mounting case for installing the project on the bracket was very tight and it took a lot of effort to attach it for the first time. After a few cycles of docking and undocking the projector with the mount, things became a lot easier. I think it was the paint that had worn just enough for it to slide freely. 2) The aluminum extension tube twisted so badly that I couldn't remove the bracket

This mount mounts very well and is easy to adjust. The locking mechanism is excellent. With a single movement of the latch, you can remove and easily reinsert the projector. The mounting system is pretty awesome as it will work with almost any projector that has some sort of screw mount.

I ordered this to install my 33lb JVC X55R projector and now it's reliable and no good! Excellent finishes and very solid construction. I used the extension tube that came with it. The instructions were very clear. I had no problems with the installation. I would recommend it to potential buyers.

I have installed several projectors in the past and this is by far the best mount I have ever used. It's incredibly adjustable, built well enough to hold even the heaviest projector stable, and looks good too. The packaging was very good. All parts are in their own compartments and separated so they don't rub against each other. Most of the packaging is recyclable and the instructions are good. I replaced the $40 bracket with this when I got my PT-AE8000U. I was able to set up the projector myself, although I couldn't lift heavy things over my head due to a disability. Independent 3-axis fine-tuning was a breeze, and if I need to change the lamp, that's not a big deal thanks to the quick-release mechanism. It was worth every penny!
