Even if you use a security camera or two, adding additional fake cameras makes it seem like your security system is far more complex and "all-seeing" than it really is. Multiple visible "cameras" may also raise the suspicion that you also have a silent alarm system as you are clearly investing in your security (even if you really aren't). It looks convincing, like the original. I don't think anyone other than those who actually have this fake camera will ever know that it doesn't actually record them. Please note that the fake white camera I received has no space for batteries so the LED never really lights up. I went to the Saber website to find out where the battery compartment is and their site doesn't say the lights work at all. Saber says the black camera has working LEDs. A few reviewers have mentioned that LEDs work with their device, including those with a white camera. I would like them to post a photo of the battery compartment and tell you how to open it. I'm assuming Saber changed this product. I would suggest getting a black camera which is only $1 more at least at the time of writing and should have a working LED light. But that's JustMe.
