Review on 🎶 HIDIZS AP80 PRO MP3 Player: High Resolution Lossless Music Player with Bluetooth, LDAC/aptX/FLAC/Hi-Res Audio, FM Radio, Full Touch Screen (Black) by Mario Schultz

The user interface, sound quality, EQ adjustment etc. are all good and have been covered in other reviews. However, it's extremely disappointing that the crossfade feature doesn't work properly (or at least as expected). Most other devices/music streaming services will fade out the old song and fade out the new song when you transition to a new song. This comes in handy during a party, for example, when people don't want the current song and you skip to the next one. However, the transition is not pleasant. The first song ends abruptly, then the second begins. Perhaps Hidizs' hide feature only works under certain circumstances, e.g. B. after playing a song to the end or within an album or whatever. I contacted Hidizs and didn't get a convincing explanation from them. Just a general statement that everything is working correctly. I updated the AP80 Pro firmware, tried enabling and disabling gapless (it seemed to work for Spotify listeners), tried different file formats (WAV, WMA, MP3, FLAC), on 2 different AP80 Pro devices tried but crossfade still doesn't work when you switch to a new song. I would think this is an easy programming fix for the next firmware update. Hidizs' communication also leaves a lot to be desired.
