I had a problem with TWO of the ones I ordered. They were not compatible with our unit. The box says "PP10" which is what we have. I ordered one, tried it, nothing, sent it back, got a replacement, same thing. Contacted the company and they said the product should work with the old bell we have. Manufacturers said they told the company to do it. I LOVE the original product and if you get a product with a bell I'm sure you'll be glad we've had ours for 12 years now and it still works. We just wanted an extra button for another part of the house. Just make sure the bell (base unit) is newer when you buy this. The company was incredibly accommodating and couldn't ask for more from them. I just didn't want to buy a new ringer/base unit to get it working.
