Puplight2 works!: Collars, Harnesses & Leashes

I tried it on my 60 lb Healer and she didn't really like the elastic on her neck. She kept shaking her head, probably embarrassed. When she wasn't shaking her head, everything was working fine. If you're worried about glowing at night, in the dark, or with street lights, your dog will definitely be visible. I watched as many passing motorists peered curiously at my Heeler! If you are walking through a dark forest at night, the light will actually provide a lot of light even if you don't have your own flashlight. I would say the light shines at least 40ft ahead in total darkness making things visible enough to see a BLACK CAT. The light is controlled by a swivel connected to the base which is connected to a reflective stretch collar. The head of the screw is tightened or loosened to fix where you want the light. This can be too strenuous for dogs under 15 pounds. FYI, over time, the rubber band will stretch to the limit and become unusable. The reflective strip reflects very well at night. Maybe you could use a different collar, but that depends on the thickness and width of the collar. You can use a dremmel to widen the gap that the new collar will fit through. Eventually, when your dog carries a doll lantern, the light will reflect all over the place due to the natural movements of your dog's neck. Make it more eye-catching!
