Worth every cent! for my opinion

I absolutely love this best pet product we have ever bought. I couldn't tell you how many tie outs we have had to buy a year for our two pits just because of them tangling them up so much they either broke or came close to breaking. If i had to guess i'd say we bought at least 10 in less than a year. I've yet to have them tangle up since buying this in feburary.Unfortunately my son mowed over it and bent it so it no longer swivels. If your on the fence about it. Don't be this product is worth…

Pros
  • I had this delivered today and I’m so glad. It really works! This is a game changer!!
Cons
  • Some dogs may still find a way to escape

Nearly perfect tie out

I bought this to use with two dogs in a campground setting. One of the dogs is about 70 lbs, the other is only 8 lbs. I needed a tie out that both dogs could be hooked to without tangling up, and this did the job!In addition to this tie out, I added a heavy duty stainless steel ball bearing swivel to hook the two leads to, so that when one dog or the other pulls tight, it automatically untangles. and it works great! The only concern I had with this was that it would be hard to install and/or…

Pros
  • Product is easy to install and seems sturdy.. we will see, up dates later.
Cons
  • Some owners may forget to check the stake for rust

Pretty great! for my opinion

For the most part this is awesome. We needed something to tie our puppy up outside for potty breaks. She is large (50+lbs) and very strong. When we had gotten a lot of rain and the ground was soft she did manage to yank this out of the ground. We had no other problems though so I’m not sure if it was a fluke or what. I do love the 360° rotation so she has more freedom of movement!

Pros
  • ❤360° Swivel & Tangle Free Anchor System: Designed with a Full 360 Degree Swivel Ball, let’s your dog freedom to roam without tangle. Even multiple pets simultaneously, and continue to stay tangle free. The loop of swivel base is easy to attach your cable tie-out or leash. And once he’s securely clipped on, your dog will be happy to enjoy 360 degree of roaming freedom!
Cons
  • The stake may be too high for some dogs to reach

Love it ! Held my Melinois

I have been using this product now for 6 months. LOVE IT! I had it bolted down on a cement slab in the backyard. It was tethering my big malinois dog. If you ever had one of these dogs, then you know they are strong. Yesterday, I arrived home to find my dog in my neighbor's backyard. Yep, the eyelet on the ball had broken off. I pulled up the rest to find only a small amount of rust on the bottom of the base. I live in Southeast Texas where it rains alot and very humid. If your worried about…

Pros
  • ❤ 20ft Dog Tie Out Cable: for small to medium dogs up to 60lbs. Built with smooth vinyl coated aircraft cable, resists tugging, chewing and dragging. the crimp covered cable-ends add 2 stress points serve protection against weakening due to his running and sprinting. The swivel clips add superior strength and durability to keep your dog secure and safe without tangling. Plus, the weather-resistant cable and stake is bright red for superior visibility.
Cons
  • It may be difficult to find replacement parts if needed

My 45 lb dog pulled this out of the ground

Be aware that you might have to buy longer screws! It's a great idea that solved the problem of my dog getting tied around everything in the yard (with the stake we can put her out where she's not close to anything) but that "1000 lbs" promise is definitely not true in our case. I would recommend that you check it often to ensure that it stays in the ground. It took several weeks before it was coming up but now even with the big screws we bought at Lowe's I'm checking it every day.

Pros
  • It was true to the picture and there were no missing parts. It was easy to install. My dog loved it.
Cons
  • It may not withstand extreme weather

Works well til my dog sees a squirrel

My 50lb staffie has pulled this out of the ground a couple times when he’s taken off running after a squirrel. Otherwise works very well but would caution anyone with a strong pup that is planning to use this in place of a fence as I was as he needs to be supervised with this in mind.

Pros
  • Dogs
Cons
  • The stake may not be suitable for dogs with short tethers

Good product in my review

As with all metal left in the elements, it will rust over time. If you oil it very occasionally with some wd-40, it’s sturdy enough to last for a very long time.

Pros
  • I bought this to take to the campgrounds with us for my 55lb bully mix. She snapped a corkscr
Cons
  • The stake may not be suitable for very active dogs

Broke just after a month

Update: I left the 2star review below and the seller responded right away. They are sending me a replacement product. Things happen and their promptness and willingness to fix the situation to me signals a good company that is willing to stand by their product. Changed to 5 star. This arrived on April 27th and the eye loop on the ball broke on June 9th. I have a 120lb Rottweiler and for a month it worked great. But I expected it to last a lot longer than a month. Installing in concrete requires…

Pros
  • The stake is long-lasting, so you can buy it once and use it for years
Cons
  • The stake may damage sidewalks or pavement

Not sturdy - my new review

This would be great if this would stay secure in the ground. My dog is 70 pounds so when she pulls it seem like she's going to pull it out. Was going to send it back put I missed the deadline

Pros
  • You can use it to keep your dog safe during outdoor gatherings
Cons
  • The stake may not be suitable for dogs who bark excessively

Almost good enough: my feedback

Bought 7/21…. GS just pulled it out of the ground today 9/7…. My husband said it wouldn’t stay in the ground more than a day or so…. It lasted longer than that but today she pulled it out and started running around the yard dragging it with her😩

Pros
  • To let our 2 small dogs outside for exercise.
Cons
  • The stake may rust over time

DOES THE JOB! in my review

I’ve got a 65 lb pit bull who, when she sees something off yonder, takes off like a lunatic and completely ignores me calling her! Just moved to 14 acres and had to have something secure before her fenced in area is complete. This does the job! I installed it in semi-hard dirt, attached the lead and Bella, and it didn’t budge at all! When I decided to move it to another location, I used the nail remover part of a hammer to remove the spikes (it wasn’t easy, but it’s doable) and I installed it…

Pros
  • PS-20
Cons
  • The stake may not be suitable for all types of dog breeds

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It works better than other types of tie outs.

Love this! I have two Husky /Shepherd escape artists who must be tied up, unfortunately. They have no problem jumping the fence and kept ending up on doggy jail! I have BOTH dogs tied to this thing on 30 foot cables. The only thing was I had to buy longer bolts to go deeper in the ground to keep it from getting pulled out, but considering I have two dogs on it at once I won’t complain.

Pros
  • It is affordable and value for money
Cons
  • The stake may be too challenging to install for some owners

Revainrating 5 out of 5

LOOK NO FURTHER. This is it.

I have goats that I often stake near our woodline to eat the brush. Every tether stake that I've tried was absolutely useless.until I tried this one. I was SHOCKED to see how well it works and I love the fact that you hammer it into the ground so no more twisting through hard and rocky dirt. Plus it comes up SUPER easy with the claw of a hammer. I don't typically put reviews on stuff, but when it's this good, It's worth letting people know!

Pros
  • The swivel feature makes it difficult for your dog to get tangled
Cons
  • The stake may not be suitable for dogs who are easily frightened

Amazing product, better support

I was hesitant to believe the "doesn't tangle" claim as frankly, its not that different then the spiral screw in dog leashes. Combine that with the fact that the only thing holding it to the earth was some lag bolts and I was fully prepared to hit the return button after first use. But, two things happened. First and most important, the company notified me 2 days after purchasing and told me that there was a defect in some of their batches and if mine looked or acted the way they said it could,

Pros
  • The product is designed to hold a considerable amount of weight
Cons
  • The stake may be too small for some breeds

Revainrating 4 out of 5

No issues yet! Praying this will be our saving grace!

So far so good! I’m still very aware of my pit bull when he is outside. The weather just broke in Illinois where I could stand to have my 9mos 68lbs pit bull outside. I try to keep an eye on him while he’s outside on the leash because I don’t want him to pull it up if he gets too excited. He’s very strong! My neighbor also has a pit bull about 5months and he already pulled up their outside leash out the ground. My dog is very good with people and loves to play but I know just his breed alone…

Pros
  • Pet Supplies
Cons
  • The stake may damage grass or landscaping

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The will hold a beast .

Was looking for something that could hold my daughters gorgeous pitbull she loves to play and has gone through many chains but this one did the job did not break, I also got like a 50 foot runner it was a perfect combination.

Pros
  • Works well to tie out huge Redbone.
Cons
  • It may not be suitable for all types of ground

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It ain't going anywhere

This thing is strong, I didn't think the screws would catch as well as they did, but I was wrong. It swivels well and is low to the ground and dome shaped, so no way for the cable to get hooked and help to pull it up. Not saying it would, I couldn't get this thing to budge.I just hammered the screws in the ground through the holes until the threaded part of all the screws were in the ground, then just went to turning. Just like a tire, do one, then the opposite until you're done, then push down

Pros
  • It doesn't take up much space, so it's easy to store
Cons
  • The stake may not be suitable for dogs with long tethers

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Doesn't work for really strong dogs.

We bought this twice. The first time our German Shepherd broke the middle out of it. The second time she just pulls it out of the ground no matter where we install it. Maybe it would be fine if we had wood to install it on, but we don't.This would probably be great if you had a smaller dog with not as much pull power, it just didn't work for us.

Pros
  • You can adjust the length of the cable to suit your needs
Cons
  • The tie-out may become tangled with outdoor lighting fixtures

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Can work well. best in my review

So the underside had some rust when I got it and the hooks in the cable look like this after about 2 weeks. So I have two puppies 4 mo GSD couldn't pull it out worked pretty well. The 5 mo Rot got it out of the ground her second day using it. So I bought an auger type and it's worked very So I just took this one and secures it to it as a back up to it. The Rottie now weights 44 lbs .

Pros
  • Training & Behavior Aids
Cons
  • The stake may not be suitable for dogs who like to chew

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is a must have!

We were looking for an alternative to the normal lead options out there. We needed something a little more sturdy. This works great! its not hard to figure out how to install but it is a pain in the butt to install it. I would reccommend finding a good place and never moving it.

Pros
  • B093FPKQG5
Cons
  • It may not be allowed in certain neighborhoods
