We have a tiny dog (maybe 8 pounds) who is quite energetic - he can jump over it. Pick the taller size. Also, this works best on FLAT GROUND. On our uneven yard, it is also possible for the same small dog to wiggle under it.That being said, it is very helpful and very mobile. If your dog is not a young unsocialized puppy, it is probably enough deterrent to stop wandering. It is a bit heavy, if you intend to move it around (I'm 5'2" and not very strong).

A much better quality than I anticipated.It comes with two doors so it can be assembled as two separate pens firs one flexibility when puppy training.After the first two weeks of owning our new puppy we were able to construct 2 smaller pens from the same kit! We placed one in the front yard and one in the back yard.This versatility allowed us to more easily house train to the closest door.As he’s growing we now easily relocated the pen around our deck so he can play and explore.My only regret…

A year later my 10 lb Aussie is now 50lbs and we are still using this play pen. It now acts as a barrier fence so he can’t bark so close to the neighbor dogs and protects some pipes he likes to chew on. I’ve been able to do two things with the 16 panels! But it was great when he was little and couldn’t be just left alone in the yard and I worked from home. I was able to watch him from the window while he enjoyed the cool shaded grass. My husband and I are very pleased with the ease of assembly and the sturdiness without being too heavy. It took us less than ten minutes to set up first time out of the box. Very pleased.

Absolutely love this product. The pen may not be suitable for use on uneven ground. The wind knocked it around so a few extra stakes would be nice. Luckily I ordered extra.

I bought this to use while RV’ing with my Great Danes. The height is great. However, your can’t fold it up with the hinge rods installed. I ended up connecting 4 panels at a time with metal zip ties and folding it up like that. 4 panel sections. Makes for a quicker deployment when RV’ing. No one wants to continually have to put each hinge rod in every single time. Design this better. Especially for the price. And the gates fall off whenever you try to pick up the gate panel. I live in Florida and we’ve had very little rain the last two/three months and the pieces are rusting. Since day one, The doors are easy to latch but difficult to unlatch. The stakes that join the pieces together bend easily if you move it often. I have to take mine down every two weeks for the lawn mowers so the majority of mine are bent.

This worked so well to keep our puppy contained, we ordered a second set to expand the play area! Easy to use, easy to move when needed. UPDATE: We have now ordered a third set to further expand the play area as our puppy grows - Great quality!

this was not true, but I do really like the fences I put it up around my patio area so the boys can be outside with us without a leash, they like their area very much.

This outdoor kennel has been a blessing to my Yorky Pooh. He is no longer having to use a leash every time we go out of the house. Thumbs up

Love this ! Works perfectly well for our puppy (lab) as we potty train her. It gives her enough space to move around! The pen may pose a tripping hazard if not placed in a safe location!

Camping trips with dogs are so much easier. We set this up, (it actually fits under the steps) and the dogs don't have to be on leash to just step out the door. It doesn't take long to set it up and it's super sturdy. So did I mention that it stores in the pass through?!

Great fence for RV space. Don’t have a dog so could not use the gate. The opening is too high up to be usable. Short legged does may have trouble because it’s so high.

This was a perfect fit for me to keep my little dogs safe. I set it up right off of the dog door since my littles go in and out. The pen may make it difficult for owners to interact with their dogs.

This fencing is perfect if you need to enclose portions of your yard or to add fencing to an area that is not secure. We used the fence in the area between the garage and driveway and it worked perfectly to keep our puppy safely in the yard. It is easy to put together and well worth the price. It is very easy to move and put back when needed.

This pen is decently built except the gates. I bought two of the largest size, spending $1300. It came with 8 gates, and all of them were defective. The latch was welded wrong so the gravity lock is defunct. I'm a vet tech so I've use hundreds of kennels.It is definitely wrong. It's locked when you hold the handle and unlocked when the handle is down, so it can just be wiggled open by a dog.
