Poor Quality Control

There were drilled holes to put on crate latches but was missing some type of plastic piece that hold the screw in. So I have a crate in which the door does have any latches. Closed door with bungee cord. My puppy has chewed through two already.I would have returned if it wasn’t such a hassle. I wouldn’t recommend poor quality control.

Pros
  • METAL DOG CRATE INFORMATION: Overall dimensions: 36" L x 24.5" W x 27" H. Front Door Dimensions: 19.5" W x 14" H. Suitable for pets less than 25.5" in length, less than 13.75" in height at the shoulder and less than 66 lbs. in weight. Assembly required.
Cons
  • The cage is not durable and does not last long

Great for the price.

I purchased this kennel for our new Lab/leopard hound puppy. Putting it together was very easy. I wanted a good sturdy cage that I knew our puppy could both grow into and not break out of. Really liked the fact that the bottom of the kennel is raised adequately above the tray so if the puppy does have an accident, he wont be forced to lay in it. My only complaint is the latches aren't super sturdy. They wobble/rattle so a persistent dog could potentially get loose. We had one incident where the

Pros
  • Removable plastic tray makes cleaning and maintenance easier
Cons
  • The cage is not suitable for long-term use

Unhappy with bottom portion

The bars are very sturdy however, the bottom of the kennel is far from ideal. You will need some kind of liner so that your pup's pads and nails don't get stuck. Which is especially difficult since I got this kind of kennel due to my dog trying to claw and chew his way out of the old kennel. So putting a liner down is going to give him somethings else to chew on.

Pros
  • Usually my dog is able to get out of cages, this one was sturdy, and roomy!!
Cons
  • The price is too high for the quality of the product

Do not buy on my review.

Very dissatisfied with this crate, first they sent me the wrong item in the mail. Once customer service sent me another one I got it and assembly prints where vague and didn't really show you how to built the crate. After a week of having it was able to get out of there lock system that says it very secured so I had to change out the locks. Plus it is starting to rust already and never been outside. And the wire mess crate floor is breaking at the welds and now are sticking out and becoming a…

Pros
  • Great Product and Value
Cons
  • The paint easily chips and scratches

Overall Best Buy. in my review

Loved everything about this cage EXCEPT the wheels and it was the #1 reason why I bought it too. My dog blew out his ACL and has to be confined to a cage for 8 solid weeks. He is highly attached to me so I needed to roll him around the house so he wouldn’t freak out if not with me. When I’m not next to him he howls nonstop. I have nice hard wood floors and the wheels make black rubber marks on the floors. I can rub it off but a pain and a lot of work. The wheels did not spin correctly. They…

Pros
  • This crate/cage looks great. It’s sturdy and seems well made. Assembly was easy.
Cons
  • The tray is not deep enough to prevent spills and messes

Would work for most dogs, but not super anxious strong ones!

This crate feels very sturdy and is definitely nicer than the wire crates, and I bet it would work well for most dogs, but our super anxious pit bull was able to slide the bottom out part out and escape. He's escaped from every other crate too though, and usually faster than he did with this one. But he didn't bend the bars, even though it was clear he'd tried.

Pros
  • Provides a comfortable and safe resting place for your pet
Cons
  • The cage is difficult to move because of its weight

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Almost perfect but.

The product was great only complaint the top gate was already broken when we got it and during assembly that is the last part so we didn’t realize until we were practically finished that it was broken. Other than that our pup loves it.

Pros
  • Provides peace of mind when in use as your pet is secure
Cons
  • The cage is not suitable for outdoor use

I thought it was sturdy-it appeared to be. Went together easily but i underestimated the strength of my dog when her anxiety is full-on. Chewed the cage to bits. Bent bars-removed several and got her head stuck. Had to return it for her own safely. If you have a calm dog I’m sure it would be fine. Just didn’t work out for my crazy girl.

Pros
  • Steel frame ensures long-lasting durability
Cons
  • The cage may cause injury to dogs that are prone to jumping and climbing

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Sturdy, a few design flaws.

Sturdy and easy to assemble. The door hinge allows it to slip when closed so you have to pull up on the top of door for the latches to fully lock. Wheel locks are good, but don’t hold well with a heavy dog.

Pros
  • Secure latching system to help keep your pet securely inside
Cons
  • The wheels are too small and cannot handle rough terrain

Didn't last a week.

Indestructible my a$$. The first time my dog was in it, she got the top latch open and escaped out the top. Third time in it, she bent the metal bars on the side. After a week, she completely got the bottom wire and drip pan out and escaped from the bottom. I was really hoping that this product would be the crate we've been searching for. Not at all. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • Some Holes did not line
Cons
  • The latches seem flimsy. The tray is loud underneath the crate.

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not for escape artists.

Two of the wheels wouldn't fit into holes at bottom, i need to shave away some metal perahps. The bottom of the crate is flimsy wire, would be better if it were like rest of material. Day 1 my dog was able to pull all the wire up and escape out the bottom. He also was able to scoot the cate across the floor using his body weight. Wouldn't recommend for dogs with anxiety issues or escape artists!

Pros
  • Dogs
Cons
  • The cage is difficult to clean

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It actually worked.

I didn’t think this would actually work because my dog gets out of everything but she hasn’t gotten out of this one ! That's my feedback.

Pros
  • The double-door design provides easy access to your pet from both sides
Cons
  • The cage is not suitable for dogs that are afraid of enclosed spaces

Thick bars! for my opinion

Love this! Awesome for any major chewers! Strong thick steel bars! Our German Sheppard pup chewed through traditional crates, wood, plastic etc. She loves this one and can't chew it. We leave the door open on it n she will go in it to nap on her own.

Pros
  • This is the second one I have purchased. Great for smaller doodles
Cons
  • It is quite heavy and difficult to move around

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Better than expected!

Bought what I could afford at the time. Was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this kennel. Have a dog that either can escape or destroy all other kennels. So far not even a scratch on this one. Would highly recommend this kennel.

Pros
  • Durable powder-coated finish that resists rust and corrosion
Cons
  • The cage is not easy to clean and maintain

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Sturdy and durable for my opinion

Fast shipping, great customer service when i needed help because the crate showed up with a bent bar. They were happy to assist me in making my purchase satisfactory. This crate is very sturdy and durable. Would definitely buy again.

Pros
  • The cage provides a safe and comfortable environment for your pet while you're away
Cons
  • The cage is too expensive for its quality

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bad dog, great cage.

First a foremost, I was really upset that I had to shell out over a hundred bucks for a dog cage. But since we have a brute escape artist that kept destroying her old kennel and hurting herself during the process. With this kennel, it has stopped all escapes, no signs of giving or stress. She's made it her home even when she doesn't need to be there.it comes with removable caster wheels for easy relocation, or take them off and leave it stationary while cutting a few inches off the overall…

Pros
  • Allows for easy access when feeding or visiting your pet
Cons
  • The cage is not escape-proof for dogs that can open latches

Great crate for my opinion

I loved this crate. Heavy duty and my puppy couldn’t escape from this one Would definitely buy only this one in the future!

Pros
  • Quality cage reasonable price
Cons
  • The locking mechanism is not secure enough

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Weak Construction.: my feedback

Okay, this thing arrived in torn packaging. No biggie, right? Open it the rest of the way. well, we've got bent bars, sections that don't line up and a floating center support that attaches to nothing.Topper? My dog got through the cage. Yeah, the one said to be strong enough to not be bent and pulled apart.I'm going to request a refund. Doubt I'll see any reimbursement.Save you and your pet some trouble.Shop for a better product.

Pros
  • Provides an ideal space for your pet to relax during long trips
Cons
  • The locking mechanism is prone to jamming

Revainrating 2 out of 5

No good for large dogs with anxiety!

Bought this crate 30 days ago and my dog already destroyed it! He is 80lbs with separation anxiety. He bent multiple bars and broke bars free from were it is welded to the main frame. For a "normal" dog this would probably be a great option. Would not recommend for large dogs with anxiety.

Pros
  • Keeps your pet safe and secure with a secure lock system
Cons
  • The cage is too heavy for some pet owners to lift and move

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Locks on the door are weak.

The locks for the door are not very secure. Took our dog only 30 seconds to rattle them open. Otherwise, the crate is very sturdy.

Pros
  • Offers a safe environment for your pet when you're not around
Cons
  • The cage is not comfortable for dogs that are prone to joint problems
