Just got it, and started using it, so can't comment on how it is going to hold up to: doggie and kitty toenails and washing, but it fits our ottoman awesomely! Other makers charge way to much and we had just been draping our leather ottoman with various throws,etc, but they look kind of tacky and always slip and slide, especially since our small dog uses it as her Bridge to Terabithia so she doesn't have to actually walk on the floor.
