🔴 3M 2080 Gloss Hot Rod Red Vinyl Film 5ft x 1ft (5 Sq/ft) Car Wrap Review

I used this to put some graphics on my GSXR1000, it's really easy to wrap and while it's food. You must have a heat gun to wrap like a pro. I've watched a few youtube videos on packaging and this 3M stuff is very simple.

With fear and trembling I approached this product. I used it (and some carbon fiber) to complete a pair of speakers I designed and built. Surface preparation is key, and with the exception of NASA's clean room, I don't know how to get rid of the specs completely. However, the product was surprisingly easy to work with. The results are excellent. Harmony F1 Point Source speakers are a hit!

This material is amazing. I've used it inside and outside my car. This material is quite durable, very colorful and easy to work with. You can easily stretch this material without tearing it to smooth out the creases. You can stick it over and over again until you get the result you want. It is easy to work with, easy to cut and very cheap for the quality of the product. I will buy more to complete it. I highly recommend this material.

I wanted to liven up my dark gray metallic car and decided a bit of red would do the trick. However, I didn't want to do the painting if I didn't like the result. This case was perfect. It's easy to cut and re-stick until you apply heat for a better, wrinkle-free fit. I was so happy with the rust that I cut out 1/2" wide strips and added rocker strips. They have held up well to the beating of bugs and rock chips. A good product.

Arrived rolled not folded like some others I've seen and it's amazing. When trying to match the color of the car, this sample size is ideal. It is very malicious and easy to work with. Adhesion is excellent. The color matched the picture very well. However it wasn't the color I wanted but it has mine so I ordered a sample to find the right shade of red and order more.

I use this to wrap parts of a plastic spinning cart and it sticks really well, rolls around corners really well and looks great - red and shiny just like the photo . Yes, I have creases in tight corners, but I'm also not a wrap pro and don't know the best tricks. I use an AC heat gun and some plastic tools to poke things in, but mostly I use my fingers to smooth things out (I bought a felt scraper but it doesn't work as well as fingers and plastic tools for my purposes).

I wrapped my PS4 panels with this and was blown away by its flexibility and durability. As long as you don't block the console vents, this vinyl really works on many devices and surfaces. Although designed for in-car use, it's surprisingly easy to work with on other surfaces and devices. Having made a mistake on my first application, vinyl is great for re-straightening and with a little heat from a hair dryer it straightens out just to re-adjust. You have to stretch the vinyl at a unique angle,

I didn't need much for the sticker I made but this material worked great. It's quite heavy but cuts easily and cleanly and is easy to apply. I mostly worked with a flat area, but it curves fairly well (although you'll have to stretch it a bit) and adheres well. Be patient and you will be rewarded with a beautiful finish. You can paint the back and cut it to your liking. So if you want to add details or custom decals this is a great alternative to painting. I found the color to be a little more…
