Exactly what it claimed to be

Picture is for size. We have a pretty large Dalmatian and he’s only 7 months but very strong and hyper. This product has worked for us! Very happy with this purchase!

Pros
  • Your dog can enjoy fresh air, even if you're busy with other things
Cons
  • The tie-out may become tangled with furniture or other objects

Very disappointed in my review

I have only had this for a few months. The swivel portion is rusting and my 70 pound dog can pull it out of the ground. I have to press down on the stakes multiple times a day to keep her from pulling it out. It was easy to install, but I would only recommend it for small dogs.

Pros
  • You can use it on different types of terrain
Cons
  • The stake may not be suitable for dogs who are afraid of loud noises

This tie-out is affordable and effective

My dog learned how to get over my 6 foot chain link fence. This tie-out is keeping her in the fence and safe. (My dogs are supervised by me when they are in the fence. It’s not like she was lonely…she just wanted a new challenge!) So far, she has not found a way to Houdini her way out of this tie-out. It is sturdy. She cannot bite her way through the coated wire cable I got with the swivel tie-out. The swivel feature allows her to move around without the cable getting wrapped around anything in

Pros
  • Tie-Outs & Stakes
Cons
  • The tie-out may become tangled with other dogs' tethers

Held up my 50 pound dog easily

Only used 2 of the bolts on grass and it held my 3 year old pup pretty well. I will have to say the ground had firm rocky soil which probably helped with the stability.

Pros
  • it’s has sturdiness an durability an easy to install ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Cons
  • The tie-out may become tangled too easily

Industrial strength stake

Love this thing! The nails that come with it are really long, so after you hammer them all into the ground this thing is going absolutely nowhere. Have a 30' lead attached to it, place it in the center of my yard, and my dog runs around like crazy. Giant bonus is that nobody trips on this thing due to the low profile.

Pros
  • I like that it doesn’t come out of the ground and no matter how hard she pulls
Cons
  • The 360-degree motion may be disorienting for some dogs

Awesome Tie Out for Camping

I have a small dog, but got the impression that is would work well with a big dog too. It is quality construction. smooth and well crafted. As long as there is nothing under the ground surface to impede installation it was very easy to set up. The mechanism rotates without problem and kept my puppy safe while camping. Would choose it again.

Pros
  • You can use it to train your dog to get used to being tied up
Cons
  • The tie-out may become tangled with outdoor decorations

Didn't hold good for me

I was a little skeptical because of how short the stakes were, but since it had multiple stakes and there were many good reviews I decided to try it. It held my 80 lb German shepherd up until the first time she saw another animal coming onto our property. She did a full run at them and easily pulled this right out of the ground, along with the chunk of ground in between the stakes, without paying it any attention. Thankfully we were out with her and called her back.Edit: The company has…

Pros
  • 8.5 x 4.96 x 2.8 inches; 2.93 Pounds
Cons
  • The tie-out may become twisted too easily

Absolutely the best tie out available

I can’t say enough good things about this dog tie out! Description says it’ll hold a large dog, and it certainly does! We tie three dogs out! They never get tangled up, & there’s no way they can get loose. When our 100 pound "grand dog” comes to visit, we tie him out on it and it holds perfectly. Our dogs love being able to run around the yard, and we don’t have to worry about them getting out. What makes it even better is the fact that my husband can mow right over it, with no problem. This is

Pros
  • It is safe for both you and your dog
Cons
  • The stake may be difficult to find in stores

Great Product for my opinion

Great product, our 55lb lab/pit mix can’t pull it out of the ground. Easy to install and very durable, just be careful your pup doesn’t wrap the cord around your leg because it will leave a horrible burn.

Pros
  • This was affordable and it is dependable for stability.
Cons
  • It may be too heavy for some owners to move

It really does work!

I was skeptical but willing to try this for my boxer mix dogs. It really works! One of my dogs usually hangs out closer to the deck and my pup likes to explore as far as she can. I bought 2 - 50 ft tie out ropes. When I got them i had major doubts about this being useful with long leads like that. They get tangled, but it doesn't hinder them in any way. My wanderer can still go as far as she wants even with the other lead twisted around hers. Untangled them myself earlier. Ez pz! Just pulled…

Pros
  • The product is durable and dependable
Cons
  • The tie-out may become tangled with nearby objects in high winds

Perfect for us! best in my review

Our Shepherd mix is 65 lbs and he LOVES having this for the backyard. He's not one to pull super hard anyway, but this is working perfectly for us so far. We got him a collar with a metal closure instead of plastic since we heard those can break away. We have no fears about him running away with this. Love it. Would absolutely purchase again.

Pros
  • You can use it to teach your dog boundaries when outside
Cons
  • The stake may not be suitable for dogs who are too strong

Very sturdy good for me

Really like this product! We use to to keep our English bulldog in our yard. It held up for about a year then broke when the lawn mower went over it but over all definitely worth it!

Pros
  • It is lightweight, which makes it easy to carry when you travel
Cons
  • The tie-out may become tangled with nearby trees or shrubs

perfect dog stake best in my review

This is the perfect dog tie stake. I bought one over a year ago and it is still working fine and my dog is 70 pounds. No more unscrewing the stake to mow, you just unhook the lead and mow right over the stake. There is nothing for your dog to get wrapped around. Its sturdy and well worth your money. I just purchased a second one so I will have it on hand whenever the first one wears out.

Pros
  • It is easy to clean and maintain, which saves you time
Cons
  • The tie-out may become tangled with outdoor furniture

Great for a strong dog.

I love this item. I wish I had this year's ago. My dog can go in any direction and still be on his lead. This is perfect. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • You can lock it into place, so your dog cannot pull it out
Cons
  • The stake may be too expensive to replace if lost

Looks great and all but…

The base seems like it would be amazing and it does anchor really well after bolting it into the ground but unfortunately it took maybe a week before the to top piece of the ball snapped off making it pointless without a leash hold

Pros
  • Your dog can enjoy quality time outdoors, even when you're busy
Cons
  • The tie-out may become tangled with other outdoor recreational equipment

Worked great for our 60# dog

Our boy is used to having doggie door access directly to a screened porch and fenced yard. So when we rented a vacation home without either, we decided to get this anchor and and the Snagle Paw heavy-duty tie out cable. Although he is now a senior dog, he has a history of escaping and adventuring for hours on end, plus he's black so not easy to spot. After reading the reviews for both products we felt confident that he'd be OK for the times he'd be outside without us, which were few and far…

Pros
  • You can use it in all seasons, and it'll hold up well
Cons
  • The stake may pose a hazard to children playing nearby

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great! for my opinion

Even with two dogs (a full sized 70 lb German Shepherd & and 80 lb American bully) tied up on it for a little exercise it works great! We actually bought a second for when we go camping!

Pros
  • This was easy to install and so for it has worked great.
Cons
  • The 360-degree motion may be too free for some

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Ok for price good for me

Installed this product in March and by May it had rusted out and completely broke. Seems like it would’ve been a great product.

Pros
  • You can use it indoors or outdoors
Cons
  • The stake may not be suitable for dogs who are too heavy

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Quality great, not right for us

The product is very heavy duty and appears to be very well made. We ended up not trying it as we thought the risk of getting clothes lined was to great with our very exuberant and powerful GS. We were also skeptical that our girl couldn’t pull it out as the bolts are not that long, our girl is very strong and our ground is soft.I will say that if we had thought it was the right solution for us we would have cemented the base into the ground. The ball type mechanism seems like it would work…

Pros
  • Pestairs
Cons
  • It may be too expensive for some owners

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Crazy stong for my opinion

I have moved this thing around my yard plenty of times since I got it. Easy to use a cordless impact wrench to move the bolts around. We leave it out in the rain and mud and all that - cleans up fine.I was skeptical of this before buying. Know that there is no chance my large dog could move or pull this out of the ground. I doubt my car could pull it out. It is SOLID.

Pros
  • You get the added benefit of lifetime replacement guarantee
Cons
  • The tie-out may become tangled with nearby hoses or sprinklers
