I was looking for an adapter to make my Panasonic headset work with my laptop which only has a 'headset' jack. I've just tried this and it doesn't work for this purpose (it's just a possibility). So if you want to use a headset for two-way communication, this isn't what you need. I don't know if it's fair to vote, but I think the description should be accurate about that.
