The first one had problems. I have a backup The seam on the plate was torn. The arms and base separated due to improper sewing. The microwave also looked like it was torn and the ribbons were frayed as the raw edges were not sealed after cutting. I am a seamstress and I love to sew. I wanted to make my own silent book, but with three little ones I don't have time. So I decided to buy one and for the price I think it will be a little better put together. The replacement looks better but comes with two plugs. Good thing I haven't returned the first one yet, because I wanted to make sure I didn't have to send both back if I had a problem. So I just replaced it with the original's spoon. My kids love these types of books and keep them busy for hours. I really think this is a great educational toy, but be sure to check for imperfections.
