I moved to this machine with MB Pro 13 mid15 (from the base model to the base). I understood that I was changing the device class and was waiting for a performance increase, but what I got amazed me. It was possible to take a model with i9, but the i9 will have a large power consumption, and for my work scenarios this is critical, so think about whether you need these conditional + 10-15% computing power and less battery life before buying. The computer is used in the office and at home (50/50). At home, it is connected with one cable to the LG 27UL850 monitor, from which it is charged, transmits the picture and data through the USB hub built into the monitor. I don’t see any problems in using only type-C: sooner or later everyone will abandon the standard type-A, and we will already have all the necessary peripherals. Definitely recommend to buy!
