    Do not buy the MFC-9130CW printer!

    I don't really think the waste bin is the problem I think there is a problem with our BROTHER MFC9130CW laser printer model. I installed a new WT 220 CL waste bin in the printer and no, I am not printing thousands of pages and it says REPLACE WASTE BIN. Yes, I turned the machine on and off again. Brother hasn't helped with anything so far and I'm very frustrated looking at my non working laser printer that no one seems to find a reason WHY the printer STILL says replace

    I didn't even know it existed in my printer until I got the warning.

    It came promptly. Just follow the simple page of instructions that came with the device, put everything back together and didn't even have to reset the code, he did it himself. The product captures the small dust of ink that can detach from the cartridge rollers , and fills up over time. The one that came out was heavier than the one that went in, which tells me the old one had a lot of ink dust in it. Does what it's supposed to and one of those Brother products that isn't that expensive.

    If I could give this a 1/2 star I would. I received this product on August 8th. It wasn't installed in my printer until the 13th as I was out of town. Then last Thursday the 23rd my printer said I need to replace the waste toner cartridge again! The printer has not been used for more than 2-3 days, no more than 6 pages, not even full color. The last residual toner collector I bought lasted over 3 months. If you don't have a WT collector you can't print in color, not solid/white. I have to say I

    Waste Toner Bottle Replacement Problems Brother WT220CL

    The process of replacing the waste toner bottle should have some peculiarities. I've read other Revain reviews and encountered the same issue of needing to replace the WT box when flashing the printer. . After repeated attempts to follow the procedure, it worked. THEN less than a week and maybe 10 pages printed, my printer announced it wouldn't print until the WT box was replaced.     It took me longer to figure out how to get the old one back than installing the new one.

    The instructions, which were in more languages than the Tower of Babel, included a web address that didn't work to get rid of the old waste toner bottle. It took me an hour to browse the Brother website to find out I could return it with no alteration and print out the shipping label. I don't understand why they didn't just put a label on the product like they do with toner cartridges!

    It only lasted 5 months. This is BS

    I have owned Brother laser printers almost exclusively for 20 years. Now my MFC-9330CDW needs a waste toner box after a year and then after 5 months? This is the second! This is a typical printer making fewer than 1,000 prints per month. This is not only the cost of $25, but also a day or two of waiting for Revain to ship. I will try to sell this printer locally and maybe run away from the Brother brand. I'm writing this review on my first purchase as I'm on my second.

    NO COSTS! ERROR WT BOX IS STILL! I still can't type!

    Are you kidding me? I saved this for an emergency for our company as a WT BOX ERROR MESSAGE appeared telling us that the WT box would need to be replaced soon. When the error changed to that we need to replace the WT box and we installed this thing, the error still occurred and we still couldn't ship. We have tried taking it out and putting it back in many times. and whatever it is. it is FREE for intended use. We had a huge print job to do and the thing didn't work out. Don't believe it.

    Only worked for 2-3 prints, error came again

    Nowadays people don't use printers as much as they used to. I bought this product because my HL-3180CDW printer was showing a "Replace waste toner box" error. I installed it on September 19, 2020. The error still occurred. I turned the printer off/on and the error went away. A week later when I tried to use the printer, the error reappeared.
