Wonderful iron! in ironing

I quilt and have my iron plugged in and ready to use almost every day. I recently bought a replacement iron from a large store and was very disappointed and looked for an alternative. Then I watched a YouTube video where a popular quilter demonstrated her appliquรฉ technique and she mentioned how much she loves the iron. I paused the video to see what model it was and ended up ordering this one. i love it too! It has a large storage tank that produces vapor for quite a long time. The holes in the soleplate are very small and smooth and don't cling to the fabric (my biggest complaint with other irons I've used). It heats up very quickly, which is good as I can easily get 7 minutes or more between presses. And it's getting pretty hot. I have the feeling that it irons perfectly even without steam. This iron needs regular maintenance and I have found water leaks if I wait too long between cleanings (recommended every 2 weeks). Luckily, cleaning is quick and easy, and you don't have to wait for the iron to cool down to clean it. And once it's cleaned, the flow stops. As a quilter I need quality tools for quality work and this iron is one of the best!
