I've been using it for more than 6 years, subscribe and save. The last order was opened about 3 weeks ago. Shortly thereafter, numbness began in the throat, tongue and lips. I've spent the last few weeks analyzing what could be causing this. Of course, I started with all the possibilities that were new to the area. This was probably due to the new essential oil used in the laundry, so its use was discontinued. Yesterday: lightbulb! Noticed it mostly seemed to occur just after meals but not with new foods. Then, while using this product, attention was diverted for a moment and the toothpick left in the mouth while reading something. Until numbness sets in, even a slight swelling. Boom! I have a little left over from a previous order and tried one of these (after the swelling and numbness had gone down). No problem with them. Now I am convinced that this series of dental floss is something special. They seem to have a stronger mint flavor so it might be too much. Whatever the root of the problem, I will no longer use flavored ones (hope you can find unflavored ones). Just wanted to warn others to be aware. I hope that there will be no long-term problems. For reference, the serial number on the L packs is 1702AD B06. There is no recall listed on the FDA website. And that could only be me. But it is better to warn other buyers about possible problems with the reaction.
