I bought a smaller version of this when my son was a newborn. The falls worked so well that I bought the next size up when he outgrew them and weighed about 16 pounds. Both sizes work equally well. This cover, coupled with a pre-gusset, is the only diaper combo that has never lost sight of the explosive breast milk poop, not once. The covers still look like new after extensive use, can be machine washed and tumble dried on a medium and sometimes even high temperature. They are easy to adjust and feel comfortable. My son has never had diaper rash and taking care of dirty diapers was a lot less stressful than I thought! If you have doubts about cloth diapers, just give it a try. The cover/pre-fold system is very wallet friendly! I have several Fuzibuns pocket diapers, which are incredibly good at keeping skin dry, but covers are best for containing poop! For maximum protection when pinning the envelope, make sure all parts of the pre-fold are tucked in. Update: I'm on baby number 2 with these covers and they're still going strong! I ordered Charlie to add to my collection. I was disappointed that one of the growth shots isn't as strong as the others, but not so disappointing that I would deduct a star or make me consider another brand. The Kid 2 managed to break out of these covers, but they still have a better track record than all other diaper options, including covers and disposables from other brands.
