I bought two touchpads, one and one from Jellycomb. I chose Jellycomb and am returning the Keymecher. Here's why I made that decision: 1. Build Quality - The jellycomb is made of aluminum while the keymecher is made of plastic. It doesn't seem that difficult.2. Touch surface - The Jellycomb is made of metal and is smoother than a Mac's glass touchpad or a metal touchpad. The interface for keymecher is a bit plasticky and I've never felt comfortable with it.3. Functionality - Keymecher has better functional access with more buttons and shortcuts that may be useful for advanced users or people who like touchpad buttons. I feel like they eat up the touchpad for mouse movement, which is why I didn't like it. But it was a personal choice.4. Performance - Using a USB cable or Bluetooth, the Keymecher had a noticeable lag compared to a mouse or other touchpad. A few things I missed, the thickness was the same and not noticeable enough to bother me.
