They have worked AMAZING for my homemade espresso solid lotions! They didn't leak or warp when I filled them and the lotion mixture was quite hot, they didn't crack or change shape when I put them in the freezer to cool. Sizing (be sure to read measurements) is not the size of deodorant or lip balm, they are palm length and just over 1 inch wide. Perfect for on the go and ideal for a wallet sized lotion/sunscreen roll. The lid is also tight. I've seen comments about the smell, I didn't notice any chemical or plastic smell.
