This pump is great for my flow tubes and air mattresses, but I keep getting bad reviews from people who think this pump should be able to inflate balloons. This is not true, these pumps were never intended for this purpose as evidenced by the 0.4 psi rating. These pumps are ONLY suitable for air mattresses and flow tubes (pool tubes, etc.). They are not intended to inflate car tires, party balloons or basketballs. They are designed for high volume, low pressure inflatables and work great. So please don't be one of those people, if you need to inflate balloons, grab a compressed air tank (please don't waste helium on balloons, google why) or grab a hand pump or small air compressor that can generate enough air pressure to fill the for 14 psi required to achieve a standard balloon. This is a pump, not a compressor, there is a difference. It makes high volume, low pressure. But it works damn well when you need a lot of volume to quickly fill up your air mattresses, pool floats, and flow tubes. Overall I love mine and it was good money to be able to quickly fill up my vinyl river tubes (not rubber tubes for car tires) when I go swimming in the river!
