The heart failed within a day.
These wooden earrings arrived on time exactly as pictured. I had to stretch my ears a bit to fit, so I didn't put them on right away. But after I did this, the heart on one of the earrings fell out on the first day. Since then I've been wearing them for about two weeks and the second heart has remained intact. It's a very thin, tiny piece of wood that is glued to the earring and doesn't go all the way through. My earrings don't look right now, but I'm not so picky about care that I worry too much about them.
