Circles form the basis of many arts and crafts and with these hole punches you can either use the punched circles or, depending on how you punch through thicker cardstock, use the holes as a stencil or for crafting, leaving a hole for a design behind to have the hole or even make a small shaker pad. The circles themselves can be turned into many things, such as helping you Create five circles of the Olympic symbol, or carefully layer to create a flower, or use different colors to help your child learn to count, add and subtract. I am sure you will come up with many ideas. Even though I have a large space for my sewing and crafts, that doesn't mean I have extra space so my punch can't be left lying around and has to be packed away when not in use. So it's great to have some much smaller stamps to make circles for when you don't want to get your big cutter out. I have some very small cookie cutters that make different shapes and I was wondering if I could cut out one big circle out of brown paper and one out of fruit colored paper. Cut the brown paper into small strips and use a brown marker to mark the edges. Strips, place them on top of the fruitcake like a trellis and then cut out little brown stars or some sort of little cookie cutters or even little circles and place them around the edge to make a cut out fruitcake! Or cut three circles out of white glitter paper, add a scarf, carrot nose, and charcoal eyes, and you have a snowman for a greeting card or kids' craft. use! Especially since it's been a very rough week on my hands, I was amazed at how easily they squeezed and released the circle. As you can see in the photos, I used one of those postcard inserts that are sold in magazines and are about the same weight as cards. With every new craft or sewing item that comes into my house, I get more ideas. For most of my life I don't feel the slightest bit of artistry or creativity and unfortunately this has been encouraged at home.
