Trade-off brightness for durability
I'm glad I don't have to worry about breaking glass anymore. Screen was a bit wide and I had to mod fit it SLIGHTLY to fit it to the base of my lamp. Mesh seemingly generates more heat and will torch bugs drawn to the light. Set it six or so feet from the table and had plenty of light. Bugs fried all night. It is not as bright; casts continuous 'shadow-like" illumination, but more than ample light main area at campsites.
- This is amazing and so much safer than glass and equally as bright. Worked perfect
- Not compatible with liquid fuel lanterns
