To say this is S/M just isn't true. You can tell from the picture it's long, so light, and the hem is nice, 2-3 inches off the floor. I'm 5ft 9" and have broad shoulders for my height, but this robe fits me like any robe I've come across. It feels oversized, goes with all clothing, and the shoulder seam dangles an inch below mine. Shoulder. You need to wrap it tightly around itself to get a decent fit. I didn't buy it as a gift, but since they're presenting it that way, I'll note two more things. The gift box, which would have been nice, was riddled with scratches. The robe itself was badly crumpled in the box so I would be ashamed to give it away. I put it in the dryer to get the wrinkles out and it didn't help much. I will try to wash it but I think this robe tends to wrinkle. All I can say is that this robe is very soft and comfortable. woman will ever see.
