Many write about problems with the hard drive, I had nothing like that. Never formatted, did not check for bads, everything works. Got pros: Pleasant to the touch, looks good. Quiet. Weakly heated. Stops when there is no communication. Cool white LED) Different cons: Flimsy mini-USB connector, first lost contact, then fell off completely. Worked for over a year. Data is not lost, pulled out the hard drive and continue to use with the docking station.
