These 4" x 4" Conkote gauze brimmed island bandages are really good bandages that breathe and fit well. You will receive 25 dressings individually wrapped. The dressing measures 4" x 4" but the gauze for the wound area is only 2.5" x 2.5" so they are not very suitable for long lacerations or larger cuts and abrasions. The top of the headband is a very soft, very flexible fabric material, not plastic. It's like mesh, so it breathes. The adhesive is very strong so the bandage stays in place until you remove it. Gauze absorbs moisture very well, helping to keep even exuding wounds dry, which is important for healing. For properly sized wounds, this is an excellent choice.
