Ideal for water rooms

I have 2 of these in my large newly renovated laundry room because I want to hang 1/3 of my laundry out to dry and check that my built in automatic dehumidifying fan is working properly (to stop mold before it starts). I have a partner who also likes to know the SPECIFIC temperature so I've installed them in a few other rooms as well where the black goes well with the decor. The humidity in my laundry varies a lot, but 2 readers (bought several years apart, so presumably from different production batches) only ever differ by 1 number (ie temperature 71/70, which is within the standard deviation), so go I assume exactly. I like its small size and simple, concise, clean appearance. Advertisement. They are solid and displayed at a good angle (= easy to read) whether at 1ft or 4ft. It's interesting to compare "this room is stuffy" to the humidity number. It often rains and gray skies in the Pacific Northwest, but when it's stuffy indoors, there's a definite and temporary reason. I think people with leaking basements might find this a useful tool.

Pros
  • MIN/MAX display: temperature and humidity are updated in time and the data is automatically deleted every 24 hours after switching on. Or you can press and hold the "CLEAR" button for 2 seconds to clear the MIN/MAX data memory.
