I'm going through a 'change' and hot flashes can wake me up at night so I was keen to try it. I try to be very careful about what materials I sleep on and under so as not to get trapped in my body heat at those moments and although this is polyester I noticed it felt comfortable and cool at first. Freeze. I suspect it has something to do with keeping my bedroom cool and that helped figure it out. But it can also be due to the special weave of the quilt. I decided to lie down on it to see if it was any better than my current method of lying on top of a cotton sheet over the bed under a loosely woven cotton sheet. I found that I finally felt warmth between the blanket and my body. body, so I ended up using it like a real blanket. I found it soft and so soft, light weight but just enough to "feel" closed and not open. However, it's not as cool as my current duvet, so one of my hot sleeping daughters tried it out and loved it. So if I haven't had hot flashes, this might just be the thing for me. However, even this cooling blanket cannot cool me enough at the moment. Thank you for reading.
