Keeps the heat in the bedding

This duvet is so SOFT! It is cool to the touch and feels comfortable against the skin on warm days, but unfortunately still has no cooling effect. I need to "freshen up" the blanket by laying it on the unused side when it gets hot. I woke up the other day and left the blanket rolled up. I came back 20 minutes later to find the duvet was still warm. I still love it and will continue to use this blanket. I think it will be too thin to keep enough warmth for winter use.

This is not a summer cooling blanket. It's thick, heavy and very hot!

This summer I challenged myself to find the perfect cooling blanket. The Cooling Blanket is my favorite Revain Vine find of 2021. While this is a very nice, cozy and soft quilt, it sits at the bottom of the Cooling Blankets I've tried. I was hot and sweaty for the first 10 minutes after lying on the bed. It was quickly dismantled and put away for the fall. If you are looking for a quilted, soft and cozy cooling blanket, try the Fomoom cooling blanket. That and the tightly woven Qnnwuus coolingโ€ฆ

Cool to touch for duvets and sets

At first I wasn't too sure about this duvet. It's only "cool" where you don't touch it, but wow, it's icy there and it cools down quickly if you manage to warm it to body temperature. Although it won't protect you from overheating at night, it will help you cool down quickly if you do. A bit disappointed that it wasn't the answer to my night sweats, I left it on the bed anyway. I found myself reaching for it to snuggle against and I love its soft yet light feel and how cool it felt. The hotโ€ฆ

It does get warm eventually but quite chilly at first, the fabric is so soft

I'm going through a 'change' and hot flashes can wake me up at night so I was keen to try it. I try to be very careful about what materials I sleep on and under so as not to get trapped in my body heat at those moments and although this is polyester I noticed it felt comfortable and cool at first. Freeze. I suspect it has something to do with keeping my bedroom cool and that helped figure it out. But it can also be due to the special weave of the quilt. I decided to lie down on it to see if itโ€ฆ
