After reading the reviews I bought this strobe for both studio work and on the road. At first I thought it might not be powerful enough compared to the D500 ProFoto all-in-ones, but while it's labeled 400W, its guide number is actually closer to 500W flashes. All the technical details can be found on the Godox website, so I won't go into that here. The only point I wanted to make is that I did color temperature tests with a Datacolor Spydercube at 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8 power and I found the flash up to 5600K at 1/4 power quite is accurate. Strength. At 1/8 it deviates from 5600K a little more than the specs say (+/- 75K) and actually deviates to -200-250K (5350-5400K). However, this can be easily compensated for both in the shot and in the post. However, for this price and feature set (I have yet to try HSS) this is a wonderful flash!
