Exactly the dark gray I wanted. Thick and soft after the first wash but I washed them right after opening today (cold water, Gain liquid soap, no fabric softeners or bleach) and all 4 towels had this big discoloration like the color had faded. . Very unhappy and disappointed. I also bought some bath towels, hope they don't fade too. *UPDATE* The bath towels are also faded. I contacted the company and received a response within 24 hours. They asked for photos which I sent. They sent me new pool towels but I didn't get any reply regarding towels so I contacted them again today. **UPDATE #2: Received replacement towels due to fading and refunded. However, they faded even after the first wash. We use them because they are so soft and big, but will not buy them again due to discoloration. But great customer service!
