Physically the device looks fine but I have tried activating it on my Verizon account. I was told that it is a prepaid phone that requires a month of prepaid service before it will transfer to a regular account. I think I can do it, but it's quite a frustrating extra step. There is such a thing, make sure you get it in advance. It also doesn't come with a SIM card, but I wasn't expecting that (here just for anyone reading this
