I bought a composite floor house that the previous owner used for years with orange sheen and clean and shiny! A plaque formed on the floor, which in no case could not be detached. I have used a steam mop, 409, Fantastic and several other heavy duty cleaners with no success. PLEASE BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO CLEAN THE ENTIRE FLOOR WITH THE FOLLOWING METHOD, TRY ON A SMALL INCONSISTENT SPOT OF FLOOR TO ENSURE YOUR FLOOR CAN DO THIS. One trick I found is to use ammonia. I spread the ammonia over the floor with a sponge mop. After a few minutes, the treated area became cloudy. As soon as I started dripping, the remnants started peeling off. I ran out of ammonia and tried Windex and it worked just as well as ammonia but without the heavy smoke. After the floor was completely cleaned, it was shiny. Then I wanted to find a cleaner that would clean well and enhance the natural shine of the floor. My first try with Rejuvenate was great. Cleans perfectly and improves shine. After 2 months after washing the floor once a week there are no more stains on it and the floor looks great. The price is good too.
