I returned this product. If you want to scratch the roof of your kayak vehicle, you can do it for free. Effortless installation. The funny thing is, Malone's kayak racks are great. I've installed two sets in the Yukon, no fuss, no hassle. But this jump start block doesn't help at all. Take a look at the Thule 854 Kayak Carry Mat with Waterslide. Tear the roof off your ride.
