Floss too thick best in floss & picks

I thought my 4 year old would love these bright colors and the floss but suddenly he was screaming because he wanted to brush his teeth. I've tried them on my own teeth and found that they really hurt. The thread is quite thick for those with limited space. We're back to plain white floss.
