Ideal for microphones

I bought this adapter to improve the sound quality of my microphone. Well, that doesn't sound good. Maybe at the level of the built-in audio, maybe a little worse. You'll notice a lack of bass and penetrating highs. So, for audio/music - not great, but it's the same as any cheap USB audio adapter. But with a microphone he gets along very well. It's only a mono microphone, but that's enough. I highly recommend getting the longest possible USB cable to carry it as far away from your computer as possible. It neutralizes all interference coming from the PC, power supply and other installed devices. I tried the included cable, 2m (6ft) and 3m (10ft) USB cables. 1st and 2nd were ok but there was some pulsating noise. With the longest and greatest distance to the PC case, it works great. My mic sounds crystal clear now, friends say it's like "studio quality". So the adapter itself doesn't work wonders, but if you place it and your "analog" microphone cable as far away as possible and use as long a digital USB cable as possible. , it will ensure excellent microphone sound quality. Oh I was really impressed with the quality packaging, the printing and the short USB cable that came with it. Looked and felt like a $50-$100 product. Given the above, I can recommend this device, but you need to connect it properly.
