UNI-SW seems a bit overpriced to me for what it is - I would think it would be a lot better at around $15-18. But I couldn't find an alternative product and figured that the time and materials to make something by hand wouldn't cost significantly less, so I bought the Uni-SW and have no regrets. I used Uni-SW. but given the DirecTV box's very light weight of less than 4 pounds. - UNI-SW provides adequate support. The bracket can be adjusted to press against the DVR firmly enough to hold it without worrying about the box falling out of the bracket due to accidental contact or a small earthquake. that I have provided.
