If you hesitate to buy a titanium watch or a cheaper watch with silicone straps, choose the one with silicone straps. I decided to give my husband a more expensive watch with a titanium strap for Christmas because he works with his hands and does a lot of physical work. I thought a stronger strap would hold up better, but I couldn't be more wrong. The straps literally come loose with a simple movement when he twists his wrist. This shouldn't be, and this is obviously a serious downside to this watch. So if you're trying to decide if it's worth it - it's NOT. Will probably return it and exchange it for a cheaper one. It's just not worth the cost.
