Good with range control
I found the smell pleasant but not woody at all. Worked really well to eliminate odors I occasionally detect in the hallway next to the cat kennel. I find that it only takes 2 weeks to charge on medium settings, although this is a bit disappointing. So it works great for one area rather than my whole house considering it's only going to be used in that location due to durability.
