Great fun game for kids and parents

I bought this game as a night game for the whole family to play. I just played a few rounds with my ten year old daughter. We had a lot of fun playing. She has won several. I won several. I still have to play with my seven year old. She's looking forward to it. before buying the game. I searched YouTube for video reviews. There is a video by Dice Tower that describes the game pretty well. There are a few things I want to mention here. This version is not published by the playwright. As Schmidt explains, she sees no differences between them. I don't have the playwright's version. So if you are a collector this may be different. This game is very easy to play and learn. The goal is for your magician to get through the maze and collect five symbols. Magic figures have magnets. There are small wooden pegs under the playing field that you set up like a maze. Before the game starts, you put a metal ball under your magician. Whoever has a turn rolls the die and moves on. If your magician steps on a wooden peg hidden under the playing field, the ball will fall. Your assistant returns to the beginning. Then it is the next player's turn. The first player to get five symbols wins the game. For younger and older players, you may or may not use markers to help them. To do this, don't let the remaining pieces pop out of the wooden pin slots. As for the game pieces and the board. The magicians are made of wood and the magnets inside are covered with felt. Symbols are tokens that you cut out of the leaf board. DO NOT THROW OR CUT THIS PART! Because that's what the wooden pegs for the magic labyrinth were made of. I like the design of this game. I am very happy with it. I have a feeling we're going to be playing this game for quite a while.
