Bought to replace the large (extra large) ceramic bowl my wife uses to make salads (just for the two of us). I found it nice enough and big enough. Turns out it's certainly big enough, but my wife won't be using it. She says it's TOO cute! So she hid it in the closet just to pull it out for parties and stuff when we have a party. It's not very heavy, but heavier than I expected, feels good. stack level etc. It was a great purchase. One of those who exceeded expectations. We were also able to find a matching salad fork and spoon (at a local retail store). It's just an expectation that it's as good to use as it looks.
