I thought it was the same product as the old lavender flavored Pit Paste how wrong I was! I should have read more carefully because this no-baking-soda formula leaves a lot of white residue in the bones no matter how hard you try to melt or rub it in. I made a parallel comparison to the original baking. Soda formula I still have and this formula without baking soda. The original formula is almost invisible on my left skin as it instantly "melts" and disappears. As you can see, this formula leaves a large white streak. The ingredients say it contains zinc oxide, which I suspect is the cause of the white mineral residue not dissolving. Odor control is good, so I think if you don't plan on wearing sleeveless shirts you might be fine. For me it was a big disappointment. Update: I ran out of my regular deodorant and have been using it for a few days. I got a rash under my armpits, something like ingrown hairs that hurt. If you have sensitive skin, be careful.
