The disc is a software development kit, no software to use the device. Instead, one has to resort to third-party software and few are available for free or easily on PC. If anyone tries to buy this device to create NFCTag for Amiibos, it won't work on PC. The only option is libnfc for Raspberry Pi or nfc project for Linux. It would be easier to evaluate the device if software for testing was available. These free programs made the device readable, but no write logs are available. Most of the writing is limited to text files. I would advise the company to at least point others to easy reading and writing software on their website. I only recommend this device if the person already has the software for the device and searches the official website for file types compatible for recording before purchasing. Note: I used a recorder and it works. Spring. The problem is not in the device itself, but in the available software. After finding some software to use on a non-PC device, I was able to get it to work just fine, but it's not intended for beginners or those who can't delve into the research to get the right software find the device that works with it.
